More of the Thames

The Thames here is quite a bit smaller than the pics from the aircraft, that's because it's further up the Thames, rivers tend to get smaller at one end, and sometimes much larger at the other end, this is the smaller end of the Thames.

a little bit of Pangbourne

This is the road that leads to Pangbourne, you know, "that little place just down the road?" the road is level because it's at the BOTTOM of the

Just down the road a bit

this is Annie Thanking God for something to lean on. This little shop was at the top of the hill from Pangbourne, obviously put there because it's at the top of a hill

Just down the river Thames to the locks

One really nice afternoon Annie and I walked down to the locks and took a few pics. Mike had tols us about this lovely little town, "Just down the road" he said...just down the road, alright we said, "We'll just take a casual stroll down the road to Pangbourne" we started walking along the Thames and 3 hours later, we arrived at that lovely little village. It had started to rain a bit, but that didn't bother us not one bit, we went into the nearest pub and had a nice cold one before we started back. If we hadn't stopped in for a quick one, we wouldn't have missed the last bus back to Purley on Thames. It's funny how when you are walking back to somewhere...it's always uphill, in the rain...mind you, we are REALLY familiar with Pangbourne now.

Just the two of them
